Here is your chance to learn and master the art of candy making with chocolate for both your own enjoyment and the pleasure of others. Why buy mass-produced candy when you can become skilled at making it yourself? Imagine the satisfaction you’ll feel when someone says “You made this”? This class is designed for students who have basic sewing skills. This class will cover various window treatments such as pleated and shirred valances, swags and jabot, tab curtains, and balloon shades. The techniques demonstrated are also applicable to full length window treatments as well as window toppers. Students will also learn about different types of window hardware and how to take measurements for their windows. Students will need to bring their own sewing machine after the first class. This class will consist of making bridal bouquets, boutonnieres, bridesmaid flowers and flower-girl flowers. Briefly covered will be arranging flowers and greenery on tables. This is a unique chance to learn and master the artistry and subtle tastes of gourmet Thai food. The class will cover a wide range of authentic Thai food preparation and cooking including wok techniques and subtle spicing of meats and vegetables. Open the family to a new food dimension or surprise your dinner party guests. Each week you will take home two dishes that you prepared.
