In this beginning level course, you will learn the basics of computer aided drafting, including how to draw two-dimensional figures. AutoCAD places a comprehensive set of design and drafting tools at your fingertips. Prerequisite: Drafting or engineering experience or training. This is not a basic drafting class. This class is a basic introduction to spreadsheets and workbooks. Participants will explore the Microsoft Excel 2007 environment including the new ribbon. Students will also perform basic calculations, modify, format, print and manage worksheets and workbooks. Prerequisite: be familiar with using computers, control of the mouse and know the keyboards. Be comfortable in the Windows environment as well as launching and closing programs and navigating to necessary data files used in the class.

This course is designed for the person who is comfortable working with Microsoft Access but would like to take the next step in advancing their knowledge. The course jumps right into discussions on Queries, including: making parameter an action queries, discussing query datasheets. Advanced form, option groups, function to control data entry and subform, macros are discussed including how to tie them to forms how to provide user interaction and automate tasks. Report topics include customizing the appearance and functionality of a report with functions, proper settings and calculated controls. Prerequisite Access 2007 Level 2. Limit 20 students.

In this class you will learn basic graphic production techniques using Adobe Photoshop Elements. You will explore and become familiar with fundamental techniques and tools so you can begin to create and manipulate graphics. Some of the topics covered will be essential tools in the Organizer, Photoshop toolbar, the power of good selections, key palettes, basic text effects, introduction to layers and some options for saving images.
